When he was born, birth, Stallone's famous smile was the result of an accident with a forceps. A nerve was injured, causing him to have slurred speech. Stallone experienced a rough childhood. Stallone and his younger brother, Frank and Frank, suffered the effects by their parents' hostile relationships, and eventually culminated by divorce. Stallone was placed in foster care during a portion of his early years. As Stallone was just five years old old, his father moved the family to the Washington, D.C. area and he set up his own chain of beauty salons. Stallone resided in Maryland for a long time, living with his father following his parents' divorce in 1957. Stallone had a difficult childhood as a child, academically and emotionally. Then, he was exiled from many schools.
